Hodgson’s Barn Holiday Cottage

Hodgson’s Barn

Converted Barn for 4

“Wonderful holiday with breathtaking views. Hodgson’s Barn is a gem in a beautiful part of the country. We loved the peace, tranquillity and lack of street lights.”

Beautifully situated in the Forest of Bowland, this luxury converted barn stands close to Burnmoor, overlooking the Great Stone of Fourstones and Ingleborough, high above the traditional market town of Bentham.

With an upstairs feature living room, this property enjoys excellent views over the surrounding open countryside. The barn is very comfortably furnished and benefits from its own private enclosed patio and pretty wildflower garden which is ideal for alfresco dining.

Just to the north lies the Yorkshire Dales National Park with the famous Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent. The natural beauty of the Lake District is less than an hour’s drive away with spectacular lakes and mountains. The historic Forest of Bowland, designated an area of outstanding natural beauty, stretches away to the south and offers a wide range of unspoilt landscapes and visitor facilities.

An ideal location for exploring beautiful open countryside and for enjoying fine walks, cycle rides and magnificent scenic motoring, with easy access to the M6 and A65. The prosperous small market town of Bentham is just 1½ miles away catering for everyday needs with shops, banks, pubs, take-aways, cafe, art gallery and golf course.
